Storytellers are the most important people in Africa according to Zain Verjee.

Because of this belief in the creative sector, she left a high flying career in journalism and she relocated to Africa to start a platform for African creatives and storytellers, aKoma.

She states that African leaders must invest in their creative and cultural sectors if they truly want to transform the narrative of Africa.
