In 1957, Sidney Poitier filmed the movie Mark of The Hawk in Enugu in the south eastern part of Nigeria. Starring alongside him in the film was Eartha Kitt.

Alternatively titled as “Accused”, the movie marked also Eartha Kitt’s film debut.
