African fashion is not the only African creative sector making waves in the art world.

African interiors and design were on display at the African Culture and Design Festival (ACDF) hosted last weekend in Lagos Nigeria.  Organized by the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN) and the International Federation of Interior Architects/ Designers (IFI), it displayed contemporary and modern African art and design alongside traditional expressions over a 4 day period.

See below some of the images from the event celebrating design with an African aesthetic and influence.
