Have you seen the promo video for this new series “African Booty Scratcher.”

The team is currently raising money on Kickstarter to fund the project.

The brief description of the project and series on Kickstarter states while the main objective of the show is provide comedy, the ultimate goal is to allow people to see beyond traditional stereotypes of Africans and realize that the African immigrant story is widely relatable.  On selecting the title “African Booty Scratcher” for the teaser video for series, the team behind the show say that as the term is one with which African immigrants to the US are often taunted, their aim is to turn something which has traditionally been negative into a positive.
